Hey! I'm Christina Rose. I've worked in various areas of colleges and universities for the past 15 years, from admissions to advising to program development.  I've read hundreds of admissions essays and been part of the discussions about which essays pushed applicants from the deny to the admit pile.  

I also hold a doctorate from UPenn's Graduate School of Education in Reading/Writing/Literacy, where I wrote my dissertation on the process behind writing admissions essays.  As the parent of two college students myself, I know how impossible it is to get them to simply sit down and write.  That's where I come in -- I'll get them talking and thinking about their past experiences, their values, and their future goals in an engaging and (dare I say?) fun way.  Then we'll harness all of that energy into a kick-ass personal statement.  If you're looking for an expert who understands the genre and teenagers, you've come to the right place.
